LAZE BLOK - Specialty Laser blocking material for industrial laser applications. Black and White in color. Intended to stop stray laser radiation from escaping a laser controlled area. CE and approved per EN60825-4:1997. Can be used to block lasers of all wavelengths between 180 and 10600 nm. Specific statements for PEL based on each incidence/application.
Overview:
- Stops stray laser radiation from escaping a laser controlled area.
- Protects those outside laser area from exposure and need for PPE.
- All screens are CE marked and certified to EN60825-4 specifications.
Features and Benefits:
- Blocks lasers of all wavelengths between 180 and 10600nm (inclusive).
- Black on one side white on the other - white side should always face the laser operation.
- Laser material can be attached to our Defender and Guardian Automated Barrier Doors for automated laser enclosures.
- Curtains can be free hanging off our curtain hardware.
- Available as free standing powder coated steel framed screens for easy mobility with locking casters.
- Free standing HD laser blocking screen; for all laser wavelengths; Size: 7.7' x 6.5' (h).
- Free standing HD laser blocking screen; for all laser wavelengths; Size 3.9' x 6.5'(h).
Technical Information:
Protection times in excess of 100 seconds are achieved for the following power densities and areas:
3 MW/sqm over 1 sq mm
0.7 MW/sqm over 500 sq mm
The material will block lasers of all wavelengths.
