Unlike leveler-mounted seals that only provide coverage when deployed, the pit-mounted design ensures constant sealing for vertical leveler applications, maintaining protection whether the leveler is stored or is in use.Product Specifications:
- The vertical-storing leveler pit seal is compatible with RIG-style and raised-style bumpers, supporting a wide range of dock configurations.
- Depending on the application, either three or four support pads are mounted to the floor at the front edge the dock pit to support a cantilevelered curtain.
- Each support pad features a polyurethane foam core wrapped with 22 oz. (624 g) black vinyl fabric.
- A Durathon-reinforced curtain with internal stays extends approximately 7” beyond the dock face to form a seal against the trailer’s rear sill.
- Stays within the curtain provide structural support while allowing it to fold down behind the leveler lip during end-load operations.
- PitMaster Vertical can be removed from the pit floor for washdown procedures by removing the mounting hardware that secures the support pads.
