Industry Leading Warranty
- Unobstructed Full-Width Loading – Aligning trailers on-center helps support full-width loading, allowing loading dock levelers unobstructed full-width access to the trailer bed.
- Efficient Trailer Positioning – Help reduce downtime between initial trailer arrival and ability to properly engage Dok-Lok vehicle restraint by docking trailers on-center the first time instead of needing to re-position.
- Complementary Product Support – Two wheel guide tubes come standard with the Global Wheel-Lok™ and RHTL Trailer Lift. One wheel guide tube comes standard with the Manual Wheel-Lok™. Wheel guides ensure accurate locking arm placement for wheel-based restraints with square trailer positioning. Wheel guides are also available during or after initial equipment purchase with the option of portable or fixed installation.
- Withstand Harsh Loading Dock Environments – Steel constructed schedule 40 round wheel guide tubes are designed for longevity and protection against weather conditions. Each standalone wheel guide is 13' (157") tall x 10 1/4" wide and weigh 220 lbs.
- Integrity of Installation – Wheel guides are anchored to heavy-duty steel plates, which are surface mounted to the concrete drive approach. Asphalt or gravel-covered loading docks should be avoided because they create uneven and unsafe dock conditions.
- Pedestrian Drive-Approach Safety – Help protect dock workers from crushing hazards on the drive approach by helping prevent backing trailers from crossing nearby drive approach lanes. Approach-Vu™ is always recommended for any process that places pedestrians out on the dangerous drive approach.
- Safe and Accurate Trailer Positioning – Help avoid collisions with neighboring trailers by keeping backing trailers in their intended dock position lane. Wheel guides are especially important in tight door centerline applications.
- Help Mitigate Product Contamination – Consistent on-center positioning helps seal the gaps around the trailer top and sides for the highest sealing efficiency. Gaps at the loading dock could cause infiltration of weather elements into the warehouse, causing dangerous environments for dock personnel as well as possible product contamination.
- High Visibility Yellow Coating – Round tubes are coated with a high visibility safety yellow powder visible from a trailer's rear-view mirror to help ensure the truck is safely and accurately guided to the dock door.
- Help Protect Automation Investment – Accurate trailer alignment and centering helps protect investments in technology at the loading dock.
- Help Address Vertical and Horizontal Trailer Movement – When paired with Stabilizing Trailer Restraints, wheel guides support the rise in AGVs and help protect any investment in automation at the loading dock with on-center square trailer positioning.
